Dua Lipa’s Dazzling Rennstall GT3 RS: Stealing the Show at Monaco Grand Prix

Between tour stops and chart-topping singles, the global pop sensation unveils a vividly customised Porsche 911 GT3 RS in Monte Carlo—blending high fashion, performance engineering, and philanthropic impact in one unforgettable ride.

Somewhere between the sonic thrum of “Training Season” echoing through Parisian arenas and the emotional crescendo of “Houdini” under Prague’s night sky, Dua Lipa found herself swept up in another kind of performance art: the unveiling of a one-off Porsche 911 GT3 RS in Monte Carlo, timed—bien sûr—with the Monaco Grand Prix. Fashion may be her fluency, but cars? As it turns out, Dua speaks that language too—with swerves, curves, and saturated colour palettes to match.

Enter the Dua Lipa Rennstall GT3 RS, a kaleidoscopic expression of velocity, vibrancy, and unapologetic glamour. A collaboration between the three-time Grammy winner and Porsche, this unique example of the track-bred 992-generation RS debuted poolside against the cerulean shimmer of the Côte d’Azur. Think of it as a haute couture hypercar—Art Basel on wheels, with just a bit of Formula 1 edge.

The livery—a wild swirl of turquoise, ruby red, gold, and a dark jade that could rival the lining of a Bottega Veneta clutch—is as bold and graphic as Dua’s own tour visuals. There's something performative about it, like the thrum of a bass drop made visual. But underneath the statement paint is an engineering marvel worthy of the world’s most demanding circuits.

Originally finished in Arctic Grey, the car was reimagined by Dua and Porsche’s design team with an aesthetic that fuses pop maximalism with racing minimalism. Peek inside and you'll find black leather and Race-Tex with Guards Red stitching—athleisure, but make it automotive. Accents like a red tachometer and Chrono stopwatch whisper subtle drama, while Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes with yellow-painted calipers scream precision and performance.

This Rennstall GT3 RS, delivered on 28 February 2024, doesn’t just look fast—it is. It’s the rare machine that pairs a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six engine (yes, the kind that wails all the way up to 9,000 rpm) with the sort of aerodynamic tech normally reserved for pitlane royalty. The headline stats read like a spec sheet from a dream: 525 PS, 0 to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds, a 184 mph top speed, and 860 kg of downforce at 177 mph. Oh, and those magnesium wheels in Satin Pyro Red? Basically stilettos for speed.

Dua took it for a spin herself, carving through the same sun-slicked streets where the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup plays out in the F1 undercard. The car had just 5,264 km on the odometer at the time of cataloguing—barely broken in, really, and already a star.

But beyond the flashbulbs and featherweight carbon fibre lies the true heart of this project: philanthropy. The Rennstall GT3 RS will be auctioned through RM Sotheby’s, with 100% of proceeds benefiting the Sunny Hill Foundation, Dua’s charitable initiative supporting Kosovan arts, culture, and education. Since its founding in 2018, the foundation has delivered 30 scholarships for young women in STEM, funded 17 arts organizations, and opened doors for rising artists through global partnerships from LA to Sweden.

Call it radical optimism on four wheels, or the ultimate merch drop. Either way, it’s Dua’s world. We’re just driving through it.

Ends 31st July 2:00 GMT with RMSotheby’s

"This car isn’t just for collecting—it’s for connecting," Dua Lipa shared. "It’s about speed, soul, and giving back. That’s the kind of legacy I want to build."
